Hat circus

Madison’s local fiber magazine Knitcircus is excited to invite you
all to our first-ever Hat Circus event! Let’s create cuddly fleece and
knitted hats for kids who need them when the snow starts flying.

Please join us on Saturday, October 3rd from 2-4 at my
house–please comment with your email and I'll send you the address. We’ll provide hat sewing patterns, sewing
machines, cutting and hand-sewing supplies and fleece material, plus applesauce cake and other goodies. No sewing experience necessary; knitters and crocheters working on charity hats also joyfully welcome.

Not local? No problem! You can download our two free hat pattern pdfs and make up your own hats. Send them to us and we'll deliver to school social workers or take to your nearest school and send us a pic. We’ll accept hats and pics until the end of the month. Everyone
who participates in person or remotely will get a chance to win a copy
