Class: Handpainting Yarns with Jaala Spiro at our studio on October 15, 2016 12:00-1:30pm
Learn to dye your own handpainted yarn with Knitcircus owner and head dyer, Jaala Spiro. Students will create unique handdyed variegated creations. Choose worsted or fingering weight yarn - your choice!
Required prerequisites: None. Beginners welcome!
Materials needed: All materials provided. We will use professional-grade acid dyes, so please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a few drops of dye on. Gloves and aprons will be provided.
Let us know in a note when you sign up which yarn you would like. You can pick two skeins total (and feel free to mix and match if you'd like to try one of each):
Greatest of Ease - fingering (80% superwash Merino/20% nylon) - 400 yards/100g.
Ringmaster - worsted weight (100% superwash Merino) - 250 yards/100g.
Students may also sign up over the phone. Note that your spot in class is not guaranteed until your payment is complete. You may choose to receive a Paypal invoice or you may mail in or drop off a check. Online payments must be completed by 48 hours before the class start time, and checks must be received at the Knitcircus Studio by 48 hours before the class start time. Please call our studio if you'd like to make last minute payment arrangements and we can check if there is still room in the class for you.
