About this Kit

The Local Yarn Cowl: LYS Day is here again! This day is dedicated to celebrating local yarn shops and small, independent fiber businesses. As a local dye studio and online shop, we're so excited to bring you kits for Casapinka's 2024 LYS Day design: The Local Yarn Cowl.

The Local Yarn Cowl has a simple stitch texture that will keep you engaged while not crowding or distracting your mind.

The Local Yarn Cowl pattern is designed by Casapinka. This yarn pack includes:

  • (1) 100g semi-solid skein and (1) 100g speckled skein (use dropdown menu to choose colorways and yarn base).  Note: The cowl in the photo is closest to Under Pressure semi-solid/Jellyfish Fields speckle.

OR

  • (1) 100g semi-solid skein and (1) 100g Modernist cake (use dropdown menu to choose colorways and yarn base).  Note: The cowl in the photo is closest to Under Pressure semi-solid/Backyard Bouquet modernist.

      Yarn Options:

        Greatest of Ease - fingering (80% superwash Merino/20% nylon) - 400 yards/100g. Great stitch definition, soft and springy. Our most popular base.

        Trampoline - fingering (100% superwash Merino) - 440 yards/100g. Extra springy merino.

        Notes about Knitcircus Yarns

        Because of our unique dyeing process, many of our darker colors appear heathered, with small light spots sprinkled throughout. This heathering is normal. Our yarns are colored using professional-grade acid dyes. We’ve made every effort to photograph the color accurately, but appearance may vary depending on your monitor settings.
