Thanks so much to everyone who entered the Boyfriend Sweaters book giveaway! You had some great (and some poignant) stories about knitting for menfolk, too. Thanks again to Potter Craft for providing a copy of this book!

The winner is: Carmen. Congrats and enjoy the book!

Since there were so many great entries, I decided to add two more winners; Anna C. and Crooked Knits both won pdf’s of my Most Likely His hat pattern. Winners have been notified.

Yoke Sweater Knitting, Ahoy!

Podcast Listeners know that Amy did a Craftsy Yoke Sweater class, and I got to see, and instantly fall in love with, her Sipsey’s Folly sample sweater. Now her class is finally live, and I’m so excited.

Now that I’m dyeing my own yarn, usually I want to knit with that, but for this project, I wanted it to look exactly like Amy’s prototype.  Lucky for me, my birthday just happened, so I now have a Brown Sheep Naturespun Sport Squirrel Yoke Sweater Kit!

Unfortunately for me, my Sunday Brunch sweater isn’t coming along as fast as I’d like, due to some deadline knitting, and I know if I ever put it down, I’ll never finish, so I made myself promise not to cast on Sipsey’s Folly until the last Sunday Brunch stitch is bound off. This gives me incentive to get it done fast!

In the meantime, I’ve watched the first two segments of the class, and plan to watch several more before I even start, so I know exactly what to do. Amy has so much knowledge, and so many great tips! If you’d like to join the customizeable yoke fun, Amy gave me a special Half-Off code for the class to share with you.

Happy knitting,
