About this Item

*Big Top Big Shop Mystery Modernist* Inspired by ocean waters, this Modernist has a heart - proceeds go towards our fundraising goals to expand our store and yarn base offerings. This Modernist is designed to coordinate with the Mystery Semi-solid, if you'd like to order them together.

Our fiber community gave us a big boost in 2015 to get Knitcircus into the current Studio space, and now we’re asking for your support for the next big step. We have a chance to double our current store space, so we can bring in more indie dyer trunk shows, teach more classes, bring in guest speakers, hold charity fundraisers, bring in local artisans, and of course, give you more yarn!

You can pre-order stunning Mystery Yarns in colors inspired by ocean waters and starry skies, or you can purchase Limited Edition Yarns right now. Both purchase methods get us further toward our goal, and all Big Top Big Shop yarns come with special Knitcircus treats.

This one-of-a-kind yarn is dyed to order specifically for you in our studio. These yarns will ship out the week of July 8. If you ordered other Big Top Big Shop Mystery yarns, note they will all ship together at the latest date quoted.

Order Now! These Fundraiser Mystery yarns will close for orders on June 17!

About this Color

This luxurious, hand-dyed yarn is part of our Modernist Collection, another Knitcircus exclusive. Every colorway is dyed differently, producing fun and unexpected results. Fields of color melt into one another, creating non-repeating color sequences. You may find stripes and new colors emerging as the cake progresses. Each cake is absolutely unique and pre-wound for your convenience.

Because of the unique and artistic dyeing methods we use, no two cakes will be exactly alike, and the dye-lots vary slightly depending on the artist dyeing them!

Notes about Knitcircus Yarns

  • Modernist cakes are unique - yours will not look exactly like the photos.
  • Because of our unique dyeing process, many of our darker colors appear heathered, with small light spots sprinkled throughout. This heathering is normal.
  • Our yarns are colored using professional-grade acid dyes.
  • We’ve made every effort to photograph the color accurately, but appearance may vary depending on your monitor settings.
