The Elevate Hat is a perfect use of a gradient and semi-solid. Knit flat, and with excellent instructions for incorporating a panel of arrows up the hat.

This design is written for many sizes. Please note that you may not get through all the colors of the gradient in the smaller sized hats. You may choose to wind off some of the yarn at the beginning of your cake knitting to "speed up" your color transitions in the smaller sizes. And you can use your leftovers for a nifty pompom at the top!

A long gradient MC works its way up the hat in simple garter, while a dynamic panel showcases the gradient in arrows pointing up. Let’s Elevate your hat game and Elevate your skills: this hat is knit flat, back and forth, with stranded colorwork and (gasp!) intarsia. However, you’ll wrap your edge stitches so the whole thing ends up seamless! Don’t worry: the pattern explains it all for you!
