Barley Hat Yarn Pack

It's no wonder that this lovely design has been knitted so many thousands of times by knitters on Ravelry - it's an instant classic! Knit in mostly stockinette stitch with a clever garter stitch panel, this hat has just enough textural interest to make it stand out. For any age or any gender, this hat can be knit for the whole family!

We knit our April Skies sample in a size Adult Small and we knit our Love is Love sample in an Adult Large.

Sizing:
Finished hat to fit baby (toddler, child, adult small, medium, adult large)
To fit head circumference: 16 (17.5, 19, 20.5, 22, 23) inches

Yarn required for these sizes: 70 (80, 90, 110, 150, 170) yds aran/worsted weight yarn

From the designer: The hat can be knit as a snug beanie (like the baby and adult S samples [shown on Ravelry]) by knitting to length per the pattern. For a slouchier hat (like the child and adult L samples) simply knit an extra inch or so in length before decreasing! [note from Knitcircus: you will need more yarn than noted above if you add length to your hat]

Please note: All dyed-to-order yarns take 6-8 weeks to deliver.

  • 50g or 100g cake of yarn in our Ringmaster base in the color of your choice, please choose size and colorway from drop down menu
  • card with Ravelry pattern URL on it so you can easily find and print the pattern at home
