Learn to knit socks two-at-a-time from the toe-up using Magic Loop! This two-part class will teach you how to cast on the toes using Judy's Magic Cast on, turn a heel, and measure your socks so they fit correctly. Pattern included with class.
Required prerequisites: basic knitting skills (knit, purl, cast on, bind off) and familiarity with the Magic Loop method.
Materials needed: Approximately 400 yards of fingering weight yarn (see suggestion below), US #1 or 2 40" circular needle, and a locking stitch marker. If you are purchasing yarn at Knitcircus for your class, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before class to purchase yarn.
Yarn suggestion: Use any of KnitCircus gradient, stripes, or Impressionist sock sets to get a perfectly matching pair of socks. Our sock sets come in three different sizes to accommodate different foot sizes and cuff lengths.
