Mirri Cowl Kit
This simple but elegant cowl makes perfect use of a Knitcircus fingering weight 100g Chromatic Pair Set (a pair of coordinating 50g cakes) or a 100g Gradient or Impressionist cake in the colorway of your choice. Gauge and yardage can be flexible as repeats can be easily added or subtracted. We knitted the small version in the sample shown, using 400 yards, and added repeats until we ran out of yarn.
"These simple yet striking designs all feature eyelet fabric and eyelet ribbing [...] perfect for an adventurous beginner or the more experienced knitter looking for a fast fun knit. A great choice for quick gifts or to complement your own wardrobe. The Mirri cowl is wide enough to keep your neck cozy. The short version is a fun and warm accessory, while the long version can be worn two ways – long or wrapped twice. Mirri is an Australian Aboriginal word meaning stars. Scores of eyelets dot this fabric like twinkling stars in the night sky." -- From the designer
