Colour Me Happy by Jessica Gore
This clever cowl is knit flat, beginning with a provisional bind off and invisibly grafted together with the famous Kitchener Stitch! A meditative slip stitch pattern works beautifully with a Knitcircus speckled handpaint - just the right amount of texture that doesn't get lost in the speckle. Add an easy i-cord edge, and this cowl's edges look finished and resist rolling.
Instructions are included for provisional cast on, Kitchener Stitch, how to best utilize a handpainted yarn, and how to modify the size of your cowl.
The pattern is written for two sizes: a small size cowl (pictured in our kits), or a large infinity cowl that will loop twice around your neck.
Use 50g/220yd of our Opulence, Parasol or Trampoline yarns for a small size cowl or 100g/440yd of our Opulence, Parasol or Trampoline yarns for a large infinity cowl. We have kits available or you can click on the links above to build your own kit.
These patterns are printed in booklet form on high-quality, heavy-duty paper with color photographs.
