This delicate crescent shawl features a gorgeous lace mesh pattern that gives movement to this sophisticated wrap. Our Sensational Silk gives tremendous drape and softness, making it perfect for a four-season shawl.

"Railings is a striking and geometric shawl that takes its inspiration from 1930s Art Deco. The shawl has pivoting bands of eyelets that are intersected by mesh lace stripes at their turning points. Together they create a clean and airy look with a dynamic feel.

YARDAGE
approximately 314 m / 344 yds of similar fingering weight yarn

NEEDLE
Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle. Always adjust needle size to obtain pattern gauge. Gauge affects finished size and the amount of yarn needed.

Shawl is worked flat but circular needle with 100 cm / 40 inch length is recommended to accommodate the growing number of stitches.

The kit includes enough yarn to make one shawl. Note: Shawl in photo uses the colorway Blue Agave semi-solid.

  • 100g semi-solid skein of Sensational Silk yarn in colorway of your choice, please choose color from drop down menu.
  • pattern - make sure to choose YES from the drop-down menu, otherwise no pattern will be sent and you can purchase the pattern yourself from Ravelry.com or Woolenberry. See notes below on pattern.

    Care for all of our yarns: Hand or machine wash cold (delicate cycle), dry flat. Our yarns are colored using professional-grade acid dyes.
