Song of the Sea Cowl Yarn Pack, pattern not included, ready to ship

Song of the Sea Cowl Yarn Pack

Using a pair of chromatic cakes, create a long gradient infinity cowl featuring an Art Deco-style, ocean waves stitch pattern.

This versatile pattern includes options for a non-rolling edge, and is easily modified so you can knit to the end of your yarn without worrying about playing yarn chicken!

This yarn is ready to ship from our studio to your favorite knitting chair.

The pattern as written offers two different sizes: Snug (a cowl) OR Large (an infinity cowl, which is what we show in our photos). You can knit either size with the yarn you receive in your kit. If you decide to knit the Large size, simply follow the designer's instructions for how to modify the Large cowl pattern so that you don't run out of your approx. 400 yards of yarn in your kit.

NOTE: our original cowl, as shown in photos, was knitted with two discontinued colorways, Turquoise Pool and Octopus's Garden. Please see the photos of our new replacement colorways, Surf's Up and Under the Sea, to see what your turquoise colorways will look like.

Song of the Sea is designed by Louise Zass-Bangham. This kit includes:

  • (2) 50g cakes of yarn in the chromatic pair of your choice, please choose color and base from drop down menu
Colors available:
  • La Vie en Rose/A Rose By Any Other Name
  • Surf's Up/Under the Sea
Bases available: Greatest of Ease, Trampoline

The pack includes enough yarn to make one cowl. Note: Cowl in photo uses the colorway Turquoise Pool/Octopus's Garden (discontinued colorways) - we recommend Surf's Up/Under the Sea for a very similar turquoise chromatic pair.

This yarn pack does not include the pattern. Please find and purchase your pattern on Ravelry or Lovecrafts, where you can easily download the pattern to your library at the same time.

Care for all of our yarns: Hand or machine wash cold (delicate cycle), dry flat. Our yarns are colored using professional-grade acid dyes.

We’ve made every effort to photograph the color accurately, but appearance may vary with your monitor settings.
