Lucy Neatby's done it again! The Northern Lights double knit blanket, created by one of the most brilliant designers of our time, shines in Knitcircus gradients. Learn amazing double knitting skills from a master, enjoy instructional videos, and knit with our self-striping gradient yarns for a breathtaking project. And with its reversible double knit pattern, it's like two blankets in one - opposite sides show off the different colors beautifully!
From the designer:
I’ve only once experienced the glorious phenomenon of the aurora borealis but have seen many photographs. This is my homage to their undulating colours and rippling effects which the ombré yarns from Knitcircus allow us to approach. Long-gradation yarns allow us wonderful colour variety but only requires two balls of yarn at any time. This center-out DK method allows some leeway to accommodate various yarn weights and gauges
