Snowfire Double Knit Blanket Yarn Pack
This double knit blanket, created by one of the most brilliant designers of our time, Lucy Neatby, shines in Knitcircus gradients. Learn amazing double knitting skills from a master, enjoy instructional videos, and knit with our self-striping gradient yarns for a breathtaking project. This may be the most beautiful knitted creation you ever stitch! And with its reversible double knit pattern, it's like two blankets in one - opposite sides show off the different colors beautifully!
We have put into a yarn pack the same colorways that Lucy used in her blanket, but you can certainly order your yarns a la carte! Click this link to pick out nine (9) 150g cakes of Greatest of Ease (fingering weight 80% superwash merino/20% nylon) in the colors of your dreams.
From the designer:
Knit yourself an heirloom with this spectacularly beautiful and warm double-layer blanket!
This project makes for wonderful travel knitting: interesting, colourful, technically pleasing, but still portable and fun.
Using ombré yarns allows you colour variety but only requires you to transport two balls of yarn at a time. The centre-out DK method is adaptable to various yarn weights and gauges.
This pattern includes fifteen videos demonstrating various techniques, from the centre-out dk cast-on to binding off this unique project!
